Peripera was a brand I only dabbled in last year, but they have quickly become one of my all time K-beauty brands. The standout point for me when it comes to Peripera is their lip products, for the affordability, the products perform amazingly and their colours available are simply gorgeous. They recently released their Autumn collection called Pink Moment, with gorgeous pink scrapbook style packaging and products with some form of pink or coral undertone. I decided to grab a few products from the range, every type apart from the eyeshadow palette because it wasn't easily available at the time of me getting this range. So, today I am going to share with you my little haul of goodies.

PERIPERA INK THE GELATO // PINK MOMENT #8, #9, #10



Of course, the key selling point of the range was the lip products, they sold products in both their original Velvet formula and their newer Gelato one. As I had never tried the newer formula I had to grab a few of these while I could. I chose the shades #8 Black Tea With Milk, #9 Peach Pink and #10 Cherry Cinnamon. My reason for choosing these particular shades was the fact that these seemed to be the ones with the slightly warmer undertones to them.


While they might look pretty similar in the swatches, they definitely have their own unique undertone and even though they look quite dark on my hand, the colours are very muted when applied to the lips. Black Tea with Milk is definitely an orange beige, while Peach Pink is a peachy beige and cherry cinnamon is a brighter pink beige. The colours work well for simple autumn looks or even just to give your face a little colour to it.

My experience with this formula has been great so far, it's non-drying and is kind of like a combination of a lip tint and lipgloss, probably quite close to the Airy Ink Velvets, but with a less ~airy~ finish to it. It's non-sticky and smells really gorgeous too! Definitely worth a try even if you're not able to grab a hold of these particular shades due to this being a limited edition collection.



PERIPERA PURE BLUSHED VELVET CHEEK // #7 COZY CREAMY ROSE


I've only ever used Peripera's base products and their lip products, so trying a blush from them was a new thing for me completely. I wanted a warm colour that could be used with most colour schemes and also not be too bright. So this rose colour seemed ideal for what I wanted.

Alright, I'm not someone who wants to gush too much about how much I adore something but this is now my favourite blush formula. It glides onto the skin like velvet, feels like velvet on the skin and doesn't streak. It melts into the skin leaving a pretty, natural-looking flush.

I'm 100% going to be buying more of this product in different shades, one of each colour I wear!

PERIPERA INK LASTING PINK CUSHION // #1 PINK IVORY



Cushions are another product I love from Peripera. Moderate coverage for a decent price. I've previously had the Mint Cushion, which had a yellow undertone to it and I knew the Ivory shade suited me well in the winter (I'm a ghost) so I went for the Ivory again (I'm Beige in the summer but I could have probably gotten away with the Sand shade at the peak of my tan) One thing I have been told about the Pink Cushion is that it has a slightly cooler undertone as the tones are pink. I feel like it's quite minimal and rather than being a full-on cool-toned base, it's more of a brightening one. The design of the cushion as a whole is adorable, the pink case combined with the stylised cushion puff is just all over gorgeous.

This cushions coverage I would say is medium, but you can build it up in areas that you feel you need to. I don't like wearing full coverage anyway as I feel it just looks too cakey on my skin. So this works well for me.


PERIPERA INK COLOR CARA // #8 PINK CHOCOLATE

I'm usually just a plain black mascara kind of person. Usually, because I mostly wear black eyeliner. However, the idea of a pink-tinted brown was intriguing to me so I had to grab one to give it a try. I had also heard some great things about Peripera's mascaras too.


I've honestly not used this as much as I would like to as I only wear it on days where I'm not wearing any eyeliner. However, I find the colour to be nice and subtle and the mascara itself helps add some length and a little volume to the lashes.


This whole range is absolutely beautiful, the packaging catches the eye so much and will allow for you beauty bloggers to get creative with your blog photos to fit in with it. Not only that, but the products perform extremely well. You all know how much I love my Peripera and will continue to keep purchasing their products. Have you tried this range? I didn't want to go all out and purchase a whole pile of these in case I ended up not liking the product so I thought two would be a good start just to give them a tryout. It was a challenge to narrow it down to just two because the majority of the warm/neutral shades are right up my street and I had to fight the urge to just add them all to my basket. In the end, I picked BR401 Wendy Brown and RD301 Ready For Red. My whole lipstick collection is almost 98% bold, bright colours so I wanted some more muted colours that would suit daily wear.  

So the one that I knew I was buying before I looked through all of the shades thoroughly was Today is Wendy Brown, a shade that caught my eye when I saw the initial promotional photo of Wendy on the Etude House page. Was it because Wendy is my favourite Red Velvet member? Partially. But I wanted to add some more rose toned shades to my make up collection. This one in particular is a neutral (best suited for summer or autumn seasonal toned people) rose-brown. 
This one is my personal favourite out of the two ♡ It also seems to be the most popular out of all of the shades



The colour pay off is amazing! I wasn't sure what I was expecting at first but I'm more than impressed. I found I didn't really have to dip back into the tube to get more product. It becomes matte in about a minute and a half (the photo above was immediately after applying to the skin) and doesn't feel drying initially. However, I found after a few hours my lips felt ridiculously dry, painfully dry at points. When you include eating and drinking throughout the day, the colour seems to last but I found it started to clump and peel off. Quite often I was left looking like I just had lip liner on as it had all been removed from the center of my lips. I tried to use a little bit of lip balm on top afterwards but this tended to change the finish and make it lose it's smudge-proof trait. 
For me, I found it a little difficult to apply these neatly, in order to show a tidy lip line, but I feel that's perhaps more to do with my lack of skill rather than an issue with the product, but it is a little on the messy side and I've found it to go on my teeth sometimes with application. The formula is relatively thin in comparison to other liquid lipsticks I have tried which also maybe part of the issue. I think I'm just not used to such thin and pigmented lipsticks. Perhaps its a bit better for me to apply a small amount and smooth out for my own style rather than a full application. I'm incredibly happy with the two shades I have picked, they're two gorgeous colours, a little darker than I would normally wear as I'm so used to wearing bright corals and pinks on my lips. However, I feel they do suit me. 
I personally think Etude House have a great base for a product, but the formula needs a little tweaking to prevent it from drying out. I'm not 100% sure if this is just my own ordeal with it, but I have seen one or two others mention that the lipsticks are too drying for them. I might just have more drying lips than others. I think they're still worth trying out to play with colour and textures. Perhaps not the best product for those who are liquid lipstick noobs like myself.     These lipsticks are generally quite affordable at about an average of £8~, this of course differs from place to place and I personally bought mine from eBay for £7.81 each. You can also get your hands on the special set containing the five namesake shades for the Red Velvet members which also comes with a selection of exclusive photocards. There are also miniature versions available that come box with an image and signature of the assigned member. However, you're paying nearly the same price for a smaller product so it's up to you whether you want more product or merchandise.  Which shades have your eye the most and who out of Red Velvet is your favourite member?

I absolutely adore Pony, when I started to get into K-beauty I always looked to her blog for ideas that I never actually put into practice as I didn't really venture much past eyeliner for eye make up. So, when she originally released her line with memebox I was gutted that it would only ship within the US (and if I remember correctly, Korea as well). But when she eventually came out with Pony Effect that was more widely available in comparison I kept lusting over the products, desperate to try them. They were a little out of my price range (I'm stingy okay) but earlier this year I noticed that Yesstyle had Pony Effect on sale. So I had to buy some!

I MEAN LOOK AT HER!! How could you not want to own make up she's responsible for?

I only ended up picking up two products from her line (as I needed some skincare too) but trying these out have definitely made me want to get more in the near future.



One of the key factors of the packaging of Pony Effect's make up is the fact that it's very sleek and modern looking. Usually combining rose gold with either black or on the odd occasion, white. making for very minimalist products to be added to your make up collection

PONY EFFECT MASTER EYE PALETTE - PASTEL MASTER
This was the one product that I fell in love with when I saw it. I love pastel colours and wanted to get my hands on some more make up that would help me create more looks. A varied selection of gorgeous pastel shades in primarily shimmery textures (and ya know I'm a shimmer gal). The colours that actually caught my eye the most were the purple, blue and green, despite these being colours I don't wear at all. However, since buying this it's caused me to experiment a lot more with colour. There is also a brown and a grey to help round up the colours together.

PONY EFFECT FAVORITE LIP FLUID - ROMANTIC BREATH
So, finding which colour I was going to buy was a little struggle as I'm always so drawn to coral shades, I tried to avoid doing that when I picked one from Pony. I opted for Romantic Breath, a very soft MLBB pink shade. I wanted something natural to wear for any days that I want to look a little bit fresher rather than it being obvious I have make up on. I 100% want to buying all of these simply because it smells of watermelon?? aka the best scent out of any fruity scent. There are also a bunch of gorgeous reds available and ya know your girl suits red. 

That's it from my little Pony Effect Haul, just two products to give me a little taste of the brand and whether or not I want to buy more. So far, with my uses of these products I've been really satisfied (I can do reviews if people would like!) and want to grab a lot more. What products have you tried from Pony Effect?

This product was sent to me by Etude House as part of their 2017 Pink Bird Programme. 
Oh how late I am with getting round to reviewing this product. I received the final box in July and while I took my photos and started using the products back then, I never actually got round to writing my reviews up. So here is going to be the first in a series of three that will be uploaded over time. Today I am sharing with you the Etude House Fix and Fixer Powder. I'm not someone that has ever really used powders of this time but I know most Korean brands do have their own version of them. The intention behind them is to either be used as a primer on the skin or as a mattifying powder.

In my make up collection I always like to have a red lip tint and have done so for years. Being pale, dark haired and dark eyed, red really stands out on me and suits me well, either giving me a sexier look or looking just a little brighter. Desperate for a red and noticing all the Korean beauty instagrammers were sharing this particular liquid lipstick/tint constantly, I had to get my hands on one of them and hit two birds with one stone by getting myself a much needed red. 

I know my blog is just crawling with Etude House posts and lately they have just been my Pink Bird posts, but I have one for you today that isn't! Following the release of the Wonder Fun Park collection, I got to sample some of the products from the range through the Pink Bird programme back in February, but I wanted more! So I went ahead and purchased 2 more lip products, one in lipstick form and one a warm shade of the lip tints. Today I am going to talk about the lipstick I chose, as it was released in Etude's Chiffon formula which is one I hadn't got around to trying and I was intrigued as to how it would perform in comparison to their previous lipsticks. This came in 5 shades and while, as per usual, I was gravitating towards one of the more orange shades, I thought I would get myself a lovely little pink shade perfect for spring time. I've been wearing much softer make up looks lately so this seemed like it was going to be a perfect fit. 

It's hard to believe how quickly these last few months have gone in regards to the Pink Bird program I have had the privilege to be a part of this year. Next month is the last month! It's quite sad but I am seriously grateful for having the chance to work with Etude House, it was a dream for me! This month I am putting all the products together in one post instead of individually and to tie in with this post I will also be holding a giveaway featuring two of the items I am sharing in this post! 

Today I have the fourth and final blog post for the products featured around the Pink Bird box I received for April. This time I am sharing with you two eyeliners from Etude House's latest line of liners. We each received two, one in black and one in brown and one being a brush type liner and the other being a pencil. Eyeliner is a major part of my make up routine and I very rarely go a day or make up look without it, so it was exciting for me to try these out and see how well they lasted and applied onto my eyelid.

I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to cushions having owned maybe a total of 6 in the past but from my experiences, I've always found them to be a handy little carry about when I'm out somewhere, easy touch ups and convenient packaging and having to take one less make up brush with me. 3 out of the 6 cushions I have previously owned have been ones from Etude House and while I had success with one of them, I found the other two I used didn't quite meet my expectations. So when I found out I was getting this Any Cushion All Day Perfect in my Pink Bird box this month, I was both excited and anxious about it as I was really hopeful that this was going to be another successful cushion for me. 

Primer is something I use pretty much everyday and I'm usually one for a brightening one to help my rather dull skin look a bit healthier. That combined with a nice bright blush seems to give me a healthy complexion that I'm frequently complimented on. Thanks to Etude House, I was able to try a colour correcting primer for the first time in January in cushion form and I was quite happy with the results so I was more than excited to try a different form of the product. When asked which colour corrector I would like I chose Mint because I suffer from redness in my face and redness that increases as the day goes by. Etude House's Fix and Fix Primer shares its shades with the cushion (aside from the strobing one is changed up for one that seemingly acts similarly to the Benefit Porefessional). But this time it comes in a tube form and a liquid-cream formula.

After a long wait thanks to some issues with customs, I finally got my hands on the products from the second box of the Etude House Pink Bird program! This time round, we were given a selection of products from their new Wonder Fun Park range, a range brought out just for the spring time with pastel eye colours, bright lip shades and rainbow cheek products. I was looking forward to this an insane amount as soon as I saw the packaging for it as, as you can see, it's a whole lot of pastel which fits right in with my colour scheme!
